Drone Pilot Program
Part 107 · Small UAS
Why this track
The Remote Pilot certificate under 14 CFR Part 107 is a different mission set than manned aviation, but it still demands solid airspace literacy, weather judgment, and operational discipline. This track follows FAA small UAS study themes: Part 107 rules, NAS participation, airports and chart basics, weather sources, loading and performance, night and remote ID concepts where applicable.
Part 107 operators need to read airspace like aviators: TFRs, LAANC, chart symbology, and weather products all matter even when you never leave VLOS. PilotFAA frames those topics the way FAA study materials do, so your knowledge test prep lines up with the ACS.
Night operations, remote ID, and operations over people continue to evolve — use this course as your structured baseline, then confirm current rules on FAA.gov before flight.
